- United Network for Organ Sharing
(UNOS) Nonprofit scientific, and educational organization that maintains the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) in the United States. Site includes information on liver transplant issues. UNOS collects and manages data about every transplant event occurring in the United States, facilitates the organ matching and placement process, and develops organ transplantation policy.
